The Voice Behind Siri

Yesterday ( October 4) was the second anniversary of iPhone's voice activated assistant Siri. It was in 2011 when Apple introduces the iPhone 4S with Siri on it.
It has been two years that Siri has been setting your alarm clocks, scheduled your appointments, searched the Web for you and many more.

But did you ever wonder who the voice behind this famous iPhone assistant? Does she really exist?

Well yes, according to CNN, behind this groundbreaking technology is a real woman. Apple won't confirm this though but all signs indicate that the original voice of Siri is a woman in the name of Susan Bennett. She is a voiceover actor who laid down recordings for a client eight years ago.

An audio-forensics expert with 30 years of experience has studied both voices and confirm that she is Siri.

Bennett is no stranger in voiceover industry as her voice can be heard worldwide. She provided the voice for commercials, many phone systems and GPS devices.
