Remove Unwanted Twitter Feeds

Lets admit it, we all have friends on social media that says everything about them. They want to let everybody know about the 4W's (what, when, where, why) and 1H ( how) of happenings of every second of their lives. Not knowing that some if not all people get annoyed about it.

Now imagine if you can put a mute button in them so you can turn them on and off whenever we want without having to offend them by un-following them. Well at least in twitter you can do that.

How?

Open Tweet Filter is a Google Chrome extension you can use to aid this misery. With this extension, you can set the keywords you don't want to show on your feeds. You can also set users that you want to remove from you feeds.

Installation

  1. Open your Google Chrome browser and go to this link.
  2. Click the "Add to Chrome" button. Chrome will install it for you.
  3. After the installation, login to your twitter account. Click the gear icon in the top right section and choose "Filters".
  4. Set it to whatever you want.

Done? OK, now more distractions.
